Polychrono is a village on the east side of Kassandra overlooking the Sithonia area. Located about 96 kilometers from the center of Thessaloniki and famous for the long beach that stretches along the settlement, below the main pedestrian street.

Its beach stretches for seven kilometers and you can try water sports, canoeing, water biking or jet ski rental. There are many organized beach bars along the beach and on the pedestrian street, on the upper side, you can enjoy a refreshing cocktail at one of the many café bars.

Next to the beach you will find luxurious complexes, hotels and a host of rented rooms.

Lake Mavrobara is located three kilometers east of Polychrono in a mountainous area.

This is a protected area of ​​natural beauty that nature lovers are urged to visit. In this wetland there is a unique species of turtle known as Mavrobara turtle and you can take part in jeep safari run by hotels or rent Mountain Bike bicycles for a ride.
