Potidea lies at the beginning of Kassandra, 6 km south of Nea Moudania, at the narrowest point of the Kassandra peninsula.
The canal that connects the two bays, Thermaikos and Toroneos, is the main attraction of Nea Potidea.
Its west side overlooks the Thermaikos Gulf and is crossed daily by boats and fishing boats to supply fresh fish the whole area. In many taverns you will enjoy them accompanied by delicious appetizers.
The east side of Potidea overlooks Sithonia. On this side there is a sandy beach, which is two kilometers long. There you will find bars and taverns by the sea, various cafés and restaurants to enjoy your coffee or food.
A large pedestrian street above the beach is ideal for a stroll before reaching the beach for a refreshing dive.
