Sani is 83 km from the center of Thessaloniki and is one of the most unique settlements in Halkidiki.

In this area in ancient times was the acropolis of ancient Sani which was a member of the Athenian Alliance until the 1st century AD. It was built by settlers from Eretria and until the Roman years was one of the most flourishing cities in Halkidiki.

In the area is still preserved the Tower which was standing as a protector of the Stavronikita Monastery. The Sani Tower, or Stavronikita Tower, was built in 1543, is 8m high and hosts the Sani Festival every summer, which brings together lots of Greek and foreign artists.

Today, next to Pyrgos hill you can find a luxurious tourist complex and many luxurious villas. In the surrounding area there are many accommodations to choose from for your stay as well as a fully organized camping site that will make you feel closer to nature.

In Sani you will find beaches with fine white sand, turquoise and shallow waters with pine trees reaching the beach. The most famous of the beaches is Boussoulas where he has been awarded the Blue Flag. Fully organized beaches, beach bars, water sports and scuba diving are just a few of the amenities the area can offer.

You can visit many restaurants and taverns, among them award-winning ones, to enjoy your meal.
